Performance modelling
and evaluation of communication systems implemented in parallel, distributed,
and grid computing systems have been an important and fundamental research
topic over the past years and poses challenging problems that require
innovative tools and techniques to keep up with the rapid evolution and
increasing complexity of such systems. The purpose of this workshop is to provide an international forum for
researchers and industry practitioners to present their state-of-art and in-progress research on performance modelling and
evaluation studies in all aspects of wired and wireless networking, parallel, distributed, and grid systems and to exchange ideas and explore new
avenues of collaborations.
Papers accepted for PMAC-2WN 2009 workshop will be published by the IEEE
Computer Society Press and distributed to the participants on USB drives
only. All accepted papers will be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed by
EI. The topics of interest include, but
are not limited to:
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts
reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics
related to the workshop. Submitted papers should be formatted in a two-column
IEEE Computer Society format (URL: http://computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm)
and should not exceed 8 pages including figures and references. Papers should
be submitted electronically in PDF format (or postscript) by sending it as an
e-mail attachment to a.shahrabi@gcal.ac.uk or i.u.awan@bradford.ac.uk. All papers will be peer reviewed and the comments will
be provided to the authors.
